Seven weeks; NO SCHOOL ON JULY 4th.
1st - 5th Grades
“Calling All Heroes: Bible Adventure Awaits”
Based on the Veggie Tales Production “The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything”!
Afternoons will feature Veggie Tales shows, games, crafts, and electives such as:
Swimming, Tennis, Music, Computer and Cheerleading.
*1st grade will be a self-contained class with academics, swimming, art, and fun!
6th - 8th Grades
“Welcome to HOLSOM:
Population Weird”
A comic book series with Heroes, Adventure, and Mysteries to solve in a strange city with a two-ton robot.
Afternoons will feature electives such as:
Swimming, Tennis, Music, Computer, and Cheerleading.
MORNINGS (9:ooAM- Lunch)
- Academics
- Language Arts will tie the character trait from the Bible lesson using a sports figure for reading and writing lessons. Math skills will be reviewed and improved.
Lunch
1st - 3rd Grade Lunch — 11:15 AM to 12 Noon
4th - 8th Grade Lunch — 12 Noon to 12:45 PM

Mega Water Party: Last Day Celebration
All-school water play (mega slides!) and pizza lunch on Friday, August 8 from 12 Noon to 3:00pm. DON’T FORGET YOUR SWIMSUIT, SUNSCREEN & BEACH TOWEL!
Field Trips
On field trip days, student will be traveling to sites on our school bus. Students must bring their own sack lunch and drink. Grade 1-5 MUST wear a GVCS field trip t-shirt (available through the school office for $10).

Lunch
Students may bring their lunch or the cafeteria offers a tray lunch for $3.50 a day. Mark the days chosen on the menu form and return with the payment attached. Checks must be made payable to Alegre Foods. |

ChildCare
Morning and afternoon childcare is INCLUDED in the program cost. Childcare begins at 6:45 AM and ends at 6:00 PM.

Dress Code
Summer dress is RELAXED. Clothes must be clean, modest, and in good repair. Pictures on t-shirts must be in good taste. (No pictures or wording depicting anything against God's Word.) Tube tops and short shorts may NOT be worn.
Sandals with heel straps are acceptable; for safety purposes, flip-flops or toe-strapped shoes are not permitted. |

Swimming
*All students will have an opportunity to swim at least once a week.
Swimsuits for girls must be one-piece or modest two-piece worn with a dark t-shirt over it. Students must bring a towel and plastic bag for wet items. |
