Expressways to LearningExpressways to Learning is a pull-out, computer based program that gives individually prescribed skills-building exercises and drills in the areas of Language Arts or Math. Students enrolled attend the lab four times per week for thirty minutes each session. Students who are weak in skills, need more repetition to learn, or have some learning difficulties are recommended to this program; however, students may take the class to move ahead if they wish. Positive results happen as a result of sustained focus; therefore, this program requires a full-year commitment. Those who enroll will be tested for skill level before beginning the program and at the end of the year. The cost of Expressways is nominal and in addition to regular school tuition. A schedule that minimizes interruption to academic instruction in the regular classroom will be provided to classroom teacher and the parents.
