Child-Care Program

Adult supervision for GVCS students is offered before and after school. Child-care hours are 6:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. before school, and 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. after school. Any child dropped off before 8:15 a.m. in grades 4 - 8 before 8:45 a.m. in grades K - 3 or not picked up by 3:15 p.m. (all grades) will be charged a child-care fee.

The child-care supervisors note the time the children arrive and the time they leave. Parents who desire to use child-care for their child(ren) must enroll them in the program and pay the monthly fee according to the child-care schedule (or $5.00 per hour if not signed up for child-care). Discounts are available for families with more than one child in the child-care program. Any category changes to Child Care must be made prior to month of usage.

Rates

Rates are current as of January 12, 2006. Note:  If not in Child Care, any child dropped off more than 15 minutes before class time or left after 3:15 pm will be charged a Child Care fee of $5.00 per hour, or any part thereof.

* Summer School INCLUDES Childcare; no additional fees are charged.

Over-Time Policy

It is crucial that parents pick their children up from the after-school child-care on time.

Any child dropped off before 8:45am (except Jr. High) or any child left after 3:15pm will be charged a Child Care fee.  ($5.00 per hour if not signed up for Child Care.)

Charges for children left after 6:00 p.m. will be $40.00 per hour and will be figured in fifteen minute intervals or parts thereof. This amount is in addition to the regular child-care fee, and is due and payable at the time of pick-up.

• 6:00 - 6:15pm, or any part thereof: $10.00
• 6:15 - 6:30pm, or any part thereof: $20.00
• 6:30 - 6:45pm, or any part thereof: $30.00
• 6:45 - 7:00pm, or any part thereof: $40.00
